Safari
After breakfast in Arusha, depart for Tarangire National Park, known for its iconic baobab trees and large elephant population. Arrive at the park gate by mid-morning and begin your game drive, traversing open woodlands and riverine landscapes that attract diverse wildlife.
Tarangire is a sanctuary for elephants, wildebeest, giraffes, and over 550 bird species. Your guide will help you track predators like lions and leopards, often seen lounging in the shade or stalking prey near the Tarangire River.
Enjoy a scenic picnic lunch at a designated site inside the park. In the late afternoon, drive toward your lodge in the Karatu area for dinner and overnight.
Depart early with a packed lunch for your journey into Serengeti National Park, passing through the Ngorongoro highlands. Enjoy sweeping views along the way as the landscape transitions from lush hills to vast plains.
Arrive in the Serengeti by midday and begin game viewing immediately. The park is home to the Great Migration (seasonal), and hosts year-round populations of lions, cheetahs, buffaloes, and hippos.
In the afternoon, continue game drives across the Seronera region, rich in wildlife due to its permanent water sources. As the sun begins to set, head to your lodge or tented camp for a hearty dinner and rest.
Spend the full day exploring the wonders of the Serengeti. Rise early for a sunrise game drive, when predators are most active, and the golden light paints the savannah in magic.
Return to camp for breakfast, or enjoy a packed breakfast en route. Continue your exploration across different ecosystems—acacia woodland, open plains, and rocky kopjes—searching for the Big Five and witnessing the natural rhythms of wildlife.
After a bush lunch, head deeper into game-rich areas or relax by your camp. An optional hot-air balloon safari is available for a sky-high perspective of the Serengeti (advance booking required).
After breakfast, begin your leisurely game drive out of the Serengeti, spotting wildlife en route. With a packed lunch, make your way toward Ngorongoro Conservation Area, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and geological marvel.
Pause for panoramic views at the crater rim and visit a traditional Maasai village if time allows (optional). Witness how the Maasai coexist with wildlife in this protected area.
In the late afternoon, arrive at your lodge on the crater rim or nearby in Karatu. Enjoy dinner overlooking the scenic highlands and prepare for tomorrow’s crater adventure.
Early morning descent into Ngorongoro Crater, often called the “Eighth Wonder of the World.” The crater floor is home to nearly every species of African wildlife, including the rare black rhino, large lion prides, and massive herds of wildebeest and zebras.
Explore the diverse habitats—grasslands, forests, and marshes—as your guide uncovers the crater’s secrets. Enjoy a picnic lunch beside the hippo-filled lake before ascending back to the rim in the early afternoon.
Return to Arusha by early evening, marking the end of your unforgettable Tanzanian safari experience.
