Your adventure begins with an early morning departure from Dar es Salaam—typically around 4:00–5:00 AM by road. Enjoy scenic views of rural Tanzania as you travel westward toward Mikumi. Upon arrival at the park entrance, you’ll switch into a custom safari vehicle and begin your morning game drive. As the sun rises, animals become active giraffes graze along the acacias, elephants cross the plains, and herds of zebras and impalas move through the grasslands. Your expert guide will take you through prime viewing areas like the Mkata Floodplain and Hippo Pools, offering insights into the park’s ecosystems.

Afternoon: Wildlife Encounters & Bush Lunch

If traveling by road, you’ll enjoy views of village life and distant mountains during the drive back, arriving in the city by 7:00–8:00 PM, depending on traffic and road conditions. If you’ve opted for a charter flight, you’ll board your aircraft for a short, scenic flight back to Dar, arriving in time for a relaxed evening.
